I'm back in another Netflix anime review - the new talk of the town is BNA: Brand New Animal coming from Studio Trigger makers of Kill la Kill. First and foremost it needs to be known, the soundtrack for this series is fire. The storyline feels familiar in a sense is this is the second animal/ "furry"-like series* to come out of the Netflix bag this year. The main character Michiru, a tanuki anima, gives you that down on your luck finding a way to get back home vibe while Shirou, the literal Lonewolf, gives you most the fight scene and action release a lot of Studio Trigger fans may be looking for. The series moves very fast and can be completed easily within a day. I would give it 7/10 because it is a little lacking in areas of the story kind of dragging you along for the ride even if you don't want to be there. Overall, the show is visually pleasing, but I would love to hear your thoughts on the storyline in the comments below.
Note* - Beastars is the other Netflix anime referenced. Great storyline but definitely not child friendly. Make sure to check it out!
